 Cutest tassie devils....
Loving the bird show..

Highlights:
- Port Arthur- learning more about the convicts and seeing the punishment room (pretty easy to scare one another... Mikila). It was great to link what we learnt at Sarah island.
- Tassie devils fighting over pieces of a roo (very entertaining).
- Feeding the roo's and even patting the joey's.
- Bird show- Falcon flying in between 11 pairs of student's legs in a row. I tried to take a picture but he was too fast, I couldn't capture him.
- Bird show- Cockatoo stealing money off students, then returning it of course.
- Shopping in beautiful Richmond.
- Skit night tonight demonstrating many fine talents of students including comedy, acting, singing and dancing. Bacon and Gilmour stole the show with their song to the students...
- Student's demonstrating love towards others who aren't feeling 100%...

Parents note: There was no second boxes this year but students could get other bargains at Cadbury...

About to have Trivia now... Catch you later...
P.s don't miss us too much..

  1. Bird Show sounds great. Tassie really does love its nature and tourism. Think one of the times I have been most scared in my life was when we went to that Zoo in Tassie and fed the ostriches while in an open-top bus!

Can't wait to read/hear the Gilly/Bacon song. Can we get the words posted?

  2. Hi Hayley & everyone,
So good to hear your voice briefly yesterday - can't believe my phone dropped out though!

You must be on my mind, I woke up this morning stressed because I dreamt you were coming home today, I was getting ready to go to the school to pick you and I heard a bus pull up in our street. I go to the front door and you're running up the driveway, but I can't open the door, because it's deadlocked! You're yelling "let me in" and I'm frantically searching for the key which I can't find because Miss Mansley came to our house earlier and left our key "someplace safe" for me??!!! I'm telling Lauren my dream this morning and she says "why didn't you just let her in through the garage?"...good idea Lauren, but unfortunately my sleeping brain wasn't thinking that clearly!

So anyway, looking forward to seeing you tomorrow - at the school not in our driveway! Dad comes home tonight. I ran into Charlene's Dad this morning and he was saying how much they're enjoying the blog and its great photos.

Port Arthur looks as beautiful (& cold!) as ever. I second David's vote, I'd love to read the Gilly/Bacon song. Thank you for the parent update on Cadbury boxes, I do hear I have some crunchy freddos to look forward too though - yum :-)

Praying you have a nice smooth crossing again tonight. Lots of love, the Morris'xxxx

  3. Hey Ash
I see that you have finally been put in a mental institution, I would come and visit but they probably wouldn't let me out.
