Enjoying the beautiful waterfalls
God help us all!!!!
Enjoying stretching the legs...
Catching up on sleep...
Great view!
Meet our new girl Tory... (hint unscramble the word for the true identity)
One massive trek...
That's what you call a stump!!
Enjoying the walk...
A long day for all on the bus... We stopped at waterfalls along the way, which were beautiful and students loved. At tonight's devotion student's loved hearing from you all. Thank you for posting so many comments. Keep it coming. Student's are very happy at the Christian Convention centre as there is a games room, so they can play table tennis etc.
Highlights of the day:
- Natalie eating her bread roll and a crow stole it off her!
- Catching up on much needed sleep on the bus.
- Seeing the most wonderful waterfalls and massive trees!
- At the tourist information centre Mr Bacon was told not to touch things with his greesy paws, asking where the teacher was. Mr Bacon replied "I am the teacher!"
- Mr Gilmour and Daniel discovered they have so much in common, even the same sport shoes!!!!
- Troy's eye makeup would not come off!
- A student received chocolate roses off another student (shucks).
- Courtney G bought a nice pair of earrings for $6. Got to love the bargains.
- Mrs Meyer bought a lavender heat pack teddy, which has come in handy, as our gel bag split.
Students are looking forward to visiting our good friend Cadbury tomorrow and also the retirement village to spread some love. Don't worry folks they will probably spend too much at Cadbury ;)
Catch you later
ps. Don't miss us too much.
Hi Court
ReplyDeleteI've heard of stick insects but never stick dolphins, must be native to Tasmania. Enjoying the blog and photos it's good everyone is having an amazing time. Saw Toby yesterday he's really missing you and sends his love and wants you to come home soon. Jamie and I enjoyed the latest Harry Potter movie yesterday (why should you have all the fun), it was really good. We're hanging out for some Nachos so don't be away too long although Owen wants to know if you can stay another week (lol)Jamie says hi to everyone and wishes he could be there. Love ya heaps Mum
Hi Hayley & everyone,
ReplyDeleteFantastic photos as usual, the one in front of Russell Falls is major de-ja vu of Brayden's shot last year. I've been chuckling about Mr Bacon and his greasy paws all morning :-)
Hope Cadbury was fantastic and that horrible rumour about them no longer selling the big boxes of seconds is not true.
Our Monday in Wagga of course was more exciting than any waterfalls and ancient forests you saw. Dad flew out bright and early to Broken Hill, doesn't come home till Thursday. At least we had Poppy stay over to make 4 for dinner, will just be the 3 of us for the next 2 nights. Brayden & co did Tournament of Minds after school, they didn't do much editing but did finalise the 2nd script. I worked as usual and Lauren had a clarinet lesson - what a thrilling day!
Don't forget 1800-REVERSE - I know there's been photographic evidence of your continued existence, but we would love to hear your voice!
Lots of love the Morris' xxxx
Hi Katrina & Everyone,
ReplyDeleteYes Tracey, I chuckled about Mr Bacon getting into trouble too! AND had the de-ju vu of the waterfall picture!I am loving the quotes of the day, keep them coming.
Jess is not well and is off to the doctor this afernoon, but the rest of us are good.
Bye for now.
I had a chuckle about the first photo where it said you all were enjoying the beautiful waterfalls...guys, unless there are two waterfalls opposite each other, you gotta turn around...
ReplyDeleteThe photo 'great view' really is what the caption says. Happy, healthy teenagers and their dedicated teachers all enjoying God's creation together - that's really wonderful. More, more, more of that!!!
So...Cadbury today huh? I'm sure those greasy paws could become sweet and sticky pretty quickly, and not just one set either.
Joy, we are finding you in the pictures. Though, it's a bit like playing Where's Wally today. We had a good trip to Sydney. The weather was sunny and warm and your siblings all went swimming in the spa and pool at the caravan park...except for Adi who found the deck chairs much more exciting!!! We all love you and miss you but want you to enjoy every minute of this time you are in Tassie! XXxxxxx
Joy, I just checked and you would not believe how many caches could fit in Tasmania...
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness...I'm sure I sent a boy away....look what Tassie water can do!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteDear Mrs Johnson and Mrs Meyer(spelt your name right!) Our class misses you heaps! Its not the same without you wonderful teachers here at school! We all hope your having a great time though! Cant wait to see you guys again!
ReplyDeleteYou also want to make sure that you are being extra careful with the information you give about yourself. Christian chat
